Seeking Practical Advice on Marriage for New Book

Anyone who's been married knows that conjugal bliss often coexists with constant challenges. I'm looking for married people willing to share their stories and advice for an upcoming, how-to guide aimed at newlyweds.

Interested? Just e-mail me with the subject heading "Interview Request - Marriage." If you've already answered one of my other interview requests, feel free to participate again!

Quote of the Day

Weird, Yet Wonderful

Weird Al Yankovic is a downright classy guy. I've enjoyed his musical parodies for years, and when I heard his parents had died in a carbon monoxide accident, I felt nothing but sorrow for him.

People handle grief in different ways. Some become depressed and turn to drugs/alcohol. Others, like Al, throw themselves into work. I really admire that.

In the midst of his pain, Al posted a personal message on his Website about the incident. He also announced plans to continue his latest tour.

AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

The Partridge Family just signed a deal to tour the U.S. in a psychedelic bus. David Cassidy, 53, has even agreed to perform.

Now I'll never get "I Think I Love You" out of my head.

Art 1, Christianity 0

Over the past year, a psycho Bible-thumper has been vandalizing the San Francisco Public Library. The man destroyed more than 600 books on gay and lesbian themes, and left behind small slips of paper advertising a Christian radio station.

In response, artists in the Bay Area took the mutilated tomes and turned them into an art show titled "Reversing Vandalism."

Take that, you ignorant homophobes.

Quote of the Day

"If you're running for office and your position on any issue has changed the slightest bit since you were in grade school, then you're waffling and you're forever labeled 'a waffler.' Even if it means ignoring new information coming to light. Be consistent. God forbid you read an article when you got into junior high that gave you information that changed your mind. Changed your mind?? In attack ads, you'd find out that's why 'you can't be trusted.' The sad thing is...that shit works. The real axis of evil in America is the genius of our marketing and the gullibility of our people."
