"Atheists would teach men to be moral now, not because God offers as an inducement reward, by and by, but because in the virtuous act itself immediate good is insured to the doer and the circle surrounding him."

Approximately 90% of all Americans eat turkey on Thanksgiving, and many end up calling the Butterball Turkey Talk-Line (800-288-8372) for help. Mary Clingman, director of the hotline, recently shared several humorous stories with USA Today, but this one was my favorite:
"A nervous and obviously distracted new father called a few hours after his wife had given birth to their first child. He was concerned that the turkey had been thawing in the fridge too long while he was at the hospital. When I asked how much it weighed, he replied, 'The turkey or the baby?'"
