Who's the man behind the target, the thug face thousands of New York City police officers have used for shooting practice? No one knows for sure, but New York Times reporter Michael Wilson has a few theories.
(This is a feature story that could have been very dry and boring. I mean, Wilson was assigned to do a story about a piece of paper. And yet, he took the article assignment and really ran with it, weaving creativity and fun into every paragraph. I loved it.)
My trip to New York was absolutely surreal. The city is constantly changing, but when you live there it seems to happen more gradually. After living in Seattle for the past 22 months, however, I was stunned by how familiar and how foreign the streets of Manhattan were. Still, it felt good to walk those sidewalks again, and see/hug old friends.
