"The Northern California Center for Well-Being, a non-profit health education center located in Santa Rosa, Calif., is seeking a dynamic individual to lead an outreach effort to promote clean air policies in apartment complexes in Roseland and Boyes Hot Springs. Specifically, the Tobacco Health Educator will work closely with youth groups, community members and tenants to decrease secondhand smoke and its health risks (asthma, cancer, heart disease, bronchitis, emphysema, etc.)...The Tobacco Health Educator will supervise tables at health fairs and community events with information about quitting smoking and fighting tobacco companies’ efforts to target people of color...Compensation: $18-$20/hour, depending upon qualifications."
