Research Field Observer

sfcar.jpg"We are looking for field observers to assist in data collection for upcoming research projects...Candidates applying to work as a field observer should have a very keen eye for detail, the ability to follow directions and to work very well independently...Some of our project work includes doing data collection for traffic safety research studies. For one component of this research, the work of the field observer would be to use a provided video camera or digital camera to record specified traffic intersections. In some cases, the field observer would conduct brief surveys with either pedestrians or drivers at specified locations. This component of the data collection involves hand written observations, and the ability to write clearly and succinctly is highly desired...The rate of pay is $16/hour."
