Boat Repairman
"We are a professional mobile yacht repair and refinishing business based in Alameda, specializing in painting, varnishing, hardware and teak decks...Job requires use of a variety of power tools including disc, palm and rotary sanders, polishers, drills, heat guns, etc., along with a lot of hand sanding to prep wood and fiberglass for paint and varnish. A great attention to detail while getting jobs done in a timely manner, being able to work both independently and as a team. You are usually on your knees, heavy lifting, bringing equipment, supplies to site and having to work around rigging, hardware, acetone, thinners, etc., so this is NOT an appropriate job for anyone with knee, back or neck problems or chemical sensitivities...Compensation: $9 to $15/hour, DOE, plus health insurance compensation after 2 months."
