"Want a job with a bang? The Shock Physics Division of Applied Research Associates, Inc. has an immediate full-time job opening for an Explosives Scientist/Engineer. This position requires a B.S. degree or equivalent in physics or engineering with experience in the design and fabrication of explosive charges and fielding explosive tests. Knowledge of explosive properties and safety requirements, both military and commercial, are required. Position will require the fielding of explosive charges at explosive test sites located locally and at remote sites both in and out of the state, hands-on work with explosives and preparation of standard operating procedures. Knowledge of high-voltage firing systems and prior experience with computer codes for calculation of explosive performance is required."
