Rabbi/Rabbinic Leader

judaism.jpg"This growing (40+ family units), liberal, non-traditional, egalitarian, inclusive, dynamic, multi-generational, Reconstructionist Congregation seeks a part-time rabbinic leader. Duties include leading Shabbat services and Havdalah programs/services two weekends a month (for adults and families with children), leading and participating in topical discussions and meetings, leading services for High Holidays (Erev Rosh Hashanah, both days of Rosh Hashanah, Kol Nidre, Yom Kippur) and other holidays, as agreed. He/she will also participate in parent-child Bar/Bat Mitzvah group meetings and in post Bar/Bat Mitzvah activities. He/she acts as consultant to religious school (20+ students) and adult study group and also provides pastoral functions, as required. Members of Mishkan Ha'am are very active in planning and realizing all programs and activities. This is an opportunity for an innovative individual interested in collaborating with our member families to help build on something special in an exciting time of growth in our community. Salary is negotiable."
