"Five years booking/producing in TV or related field; established relationships with agents, publicists and managers; writing for live intros and packages. Also desirable: management of junior staff, field producing live, junkets and two-camera shoots. Helpful, but not mandatory: line producing in live control room situation, talent agency experience. Also, ideal candidate is knowledgeable about the job and can think strategically. Some travel required...The Celebrity Booker will produce day-of-air and long lead interviews of high-profile guests including celebrities, newsmakers and other well-known people. This will entail communicating with agents, publicists, directly with the talent themselves and requires a robust contacts file. The person in this role will also be responsible for story development and editorial development of interviews that are germane to the show and its focus."
