"Conducts diagnostic audiologic evaluations 70% of the work week. These evaluations may include behavioral (routine) hearing tests, newborn hearing screening, auditory evoked potentials, central auditory processing evaluations, and the selection, dispensing and fitting of hearing aids. Coordinates audiometric results with other diagnostic tests and reports diagnostic findings, therapy used and progress made on all patients. A summary of the results must be placed in the medical record chart within 24 hours with 95% compliance. Makes selections and recommendations for hearing aid fittings in accordance with departmental guidelines with 100% accuracy."
