"Responsible for layout and installation of stone countertops according to work orders and design specifications. Review design specifications prior to the scheduled installation to ensure materials are in stock and any special order merchandise is available. Ensures truck is in working order and proper equipment is available for the installation. Cuts and trims materials to fit specifications as needed. Verifies conformance to specifications and installs countertops according to specifications. Inspects completed installation for defects, misalignments and overall quality of the finished products. Makes all corrections as required. Communicates all issues that affect installation to Shop Foreman. Maintains documentation of installation in accordance with established procedures. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds."
