Junior Colorist
"The JNY Dress Design department of Jones Apparel Group is currently looking for a Jr. Colorist position. The basic responsibilities will include but are not limited to setting-up Raw Material Ranges and colors in PLM; preparing Print/Artwork submit forms for all print strike offs; commenting and approving lab dips and strike offs; preparing, sending and filing purchase orders and tracking all tailoring; setting-up Design Tracker for each season; making records and preparing tailoring for distribution at overseas/domestic. Selected candidate will also be responsible for continually receiving, commenting and filing lab dips, dup and bulk cuts and for entering all fabrics, colors and colorways for each season in PLM. Candidates must be detail oriented with strong time-management, organizational and multi-tasking skills. Must also have good verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills."
