"Gather, input, monitor and update traffic and transit related information from various sources for dissemination through computer-based system. Must have strong typing skills and experience using Windows-based applications. Ability to utilize diverse resources required. Excellent knowledge of the roadways in the nine Bay Area counties strongly desired. Open positions are part-time, casual, on-call and could lead to scheduled part-time or full-time employment. Individuals must be willing and able to report days, nights, overnight, weekends and holidays as assigned. Two-week training program on all shifts (5 a.m., 1 p.m., 9 p.m. starting times). The Traveler Information Center operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. High school diploma/GED required, AA degree preferred."
