Forestry Planner
"The Mattole Restoration Council's Wild and Working Lands Program promotes strategies that do right by the forests, their wildlife and the human communities that depend economically on these lands. The Council seeks a forestry planner with education and experience to further this program. The forestry planner will help create a simplified permitting program for landowners wishing to harvest with a light touch; will assist landowners in complying with water-quality regulations; and will participate in analysis and writing for various watershed, rangeland and forestry planning projects."
