"Seeking very dependable, enthusiastic and patient rock wall instructor. Must have excellent communication skills, [someone] who can clearly and concisely instruct new climbers on how to climb as well as basic safety techniques. Located inside a gym (chain brand), the rock wall is a simulated rock wall with only features (no hand holds), is about 35 feet high and approx. 18 feet wide and is equipped with 2 ropes available for climbers to use. Potetential candidate must adhere to stringent safety rules and must use and teach an overhand belay grip. Candidate does not have be the world's best climber, however he/she needs to know what they are doing and should be able to problem solve in an emergency situation. Candidate must be able to supervise the wall as well as the climbers and be able to vocalize themselves when the situation calls for it (i.e. when climbers are not adhering to safe climbing techniques/rules, etc.)...Pay is $8/hour + $10/new climber."
