Please consider this new per diem opportunity: This position is responsible for the independent performance of all types of sleep monitoring studies on pediatric and adult patients and the independent analysis of these sleep studies. Responsibilities: Obtains artifact free sleep tracings that accurately reflect, physiologic processes occurring during sleep on infant, pediatric and adult patients. These processes include audio-visual observations of patient position, activity and behavior and specific biopotential monitoring such as electroencephalography, electrocardiography, electromyography, oximetry and respiratory patterns using analog and digital systems currently in use at all Banner Sleep Centers. Independently analyzes all types of sleep records of adult and pediatric patients to identify and document sleep stages and quantify physiologic processes. Generates an accurate final report for physician interpretation. (Analysis performed during training period is under the supervision of a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist.) Independently trouble shoots minor problems/adjustments as needed during the testing process to insure an accurate and readable recording."
