Eco Educator/Organic Farmer
"There are two parts to this position: 1. Grow fruit, flowers, greenhouse herbs, etc., on lush 2 acre parcel. Property has large flat gulch, presently growing a banana grove, heliconia and ginger patch, several citrus trees and assorted other tropical trees and plants. 2. Design and implement eco education program for facility guests. Teach about conservation, tropical organic farming and sustainability. Needs degree in horticulture or related. Photos can be seen at Gaia Farm Experience...Compensation: Lodging, $15/hour, plus proceeds from sale of produce for farm work."
