Synagogue Outreach Coordinator

judaism.jpg"The Jewish United Fund/The Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago is looking for a Synagogue Outreach Coordinator. Under limited supervision, the Synagogue Outreach Coordinator will work within the Community Outreach department to facilitate a seamless connection between Federation and synagogues. This involves staffing the Synagogue Federation Commission and engaging in other activities which will create a closer connection between synagogues and their congregants with the Jewish United Fund/Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago. Specifically, the Coordinator will staff the Synagogue Federation Commission and its subcommittees while facilitating the implementation of programs; manage the input and upkeep of synagogue information in the central database; facilitate an internal network of staff to identify and prioritize ways to partner in reaching and establishing relationships with synagogues, including training staff on existing system wide programs as they pertain to synagogues; Implement more efficient and effective modes of communication to synagogues, including managing a synagogue listserv and mass e-mail list; and provide general support for all other campaign events, phonathons and special events."
