"This position assumes full responsibility for performing daily duties which aid in the care and well-being of the colonies and the facility which include the following: Daily changing of animal cages, including, food, water, bedding or entire cage unit. Preparation for use of clean cage units and water bottles. Sweeping and mopping of all floors within the facility. Emptying all trashcans within the facility. Reporting of inventory (daily receiving and in house). Daily monitoring of food and water in animal cages. Completion of daily reports...The appropriate candidate must be: Able to work Tuesday through Saturday. Able to work with animals in a research setting. Able to perform repetitive work, which includes reaching above head and at feet level. Able to lift up to 50 pounds."
