"Reviews inpatient and outpatient medical records, abstracts required patient health information in accordance with NJ Department of Health, State Cancer Registry, assigns appropriate ICD-O codes (International Classification of Diseases for Oncology), and electronically transmits abstracts to NJ Department of Health. Oversees cancer abstracting/coding done by other employees. Certified Tumor Registrar required. Minimum of one year hospital tumor registry experience required. Minimum of one year hospital coding experience required. Knowledge of ICD-O Coding, ICD-9 and CPT-Coding."
