"The Harlem Center is preparing to implement interventions that will support males at critical points in their development to make a smooth transition to adulthood and postsecondary education. Our first step in bridging the gap between education and impoverished communities is our Boys to Men Initiative: Rites of Passage program. This pilot is supported by private funding sources...The candidate should have a bachelor's degree in a field such as psychology, social work or counseling and at least two years of experience facilitating groups and a deep understanding of individual counseling. This candidate also needs to have experience working with low income and/or minority males...This is a part-time position. The candidate will have to complete a minimum of 20 hours per-week at a rate of $25/hour."
