"Amherst Cinema Arts Center is now hiring part-time projectionists to run and care for our new, state-of-the art equipment (Millennium II). Should have experience with 35mm platter systems, 35mm reel-to-reel projecting and working knowledge of A/V equipment such as video projectors, DV, DVD, Digibeta, Beta-SP, etc. Digital editing experience highly desirable! Must be able to lift 50 lbs. A willingness to quickly adapt to ever-changing technologies, ability to problem-solve and the flexibility to help out around the theater and office is very important. Collegiality, reliability and punctuality are a must. You must be able to work holidays, weekends and during the summer. Shifts currently available include days (12 p.m. to 6 p.m.) and some evenings (6 p.m. to 12 a.m.)."
