"The Ailey School, located in New York City's culturally rich midtown area, seeks a full-time Bursar. Under the direction of the Business Manager, the Bursar performs general accounting functions and the primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Responsible for the collection, reconciliation and reporting of tuition charges, payments and adjustments. Assures that all student related receivables are promptly collected. Works with Financial Aid Director in disbursement of Student Financial Aid. Applies internal controls related to the acceptance of cash, checks, credit cards and electronic payments. Reconciles student registration information with payment data. Prepares and distributes reports as requested. Assists the Business Manager with special projects and performs related duties as assigned."
