"Non-profit social service agency seeks bilingual English/Spanish senior social worker/case worker for its HIV/AIDS program located in Hempstead, N.Y. Responsibilities include conducting intakes/assessments, developing service plans, providing client advocacy, facilitating support groups, resource development, outreach and follow-up services. The senior social worker will assist other staff and will lend support to the project director with proposals and other projects. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's (preferred) in health, human service, education, social work or related field or CASAC. At least one year of case management experience working with individuals living with HIV/AIDS. Experience working with diverse minority and immigrant populations.
