Parachute Rigger
"The Rhode Island National Guard will train you to jump out of aircrafts, pack parachutes and repair them. The Parachute Rigger maintains all airdrop equipment used in airdrop operations. There is initial paid full-time training where you will attend Basic Training, Airborne school and then Parachute Rigger school. You will then perform Airborne duties with us 1 weekend a month and 2 weeks in the summer, about 40 days a year minimum. We also offer free college tuition to all RI state schools and federal tuition assistance to all other accredited schools. This offer will be filled quickly, there are only 2 positions available."
