Asbestos Instructor

"The Learning Center EHS training section is looking to recruit industrious and knowledgeable individuals who are driven to deliver exemplary customer service and recognize the critical importance of environmental and safety excellence. These individuals must promote a positive work ethic in support of our Corporate Values and Mission and understand the vital importance of teamwork and communication. Must be flexible to handle multiple work assignments, changing priorities and meet deadlines. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and have the ability to conduct effective presentations and facilitate group activities. Must have the ability to render sound business decisions. Must have a working knowledge of PCs. Bachelor's degree in a related discipline such as safety, chemistry, engineering or biological science is required with a minimum of three years work experience as an approved NYSDOH asbestos instructor. Candidates with a high school diploma/GED with five or more years work experience in the asbestos abatement industry, with a current NYS, NYC asbestos supervisor certification or NYS project monitor certification may be considered. In depth knowledge of ICR 56, NYC Title 15, Con Edison AMM and safety (OSHA) laws is required."
