"Our small agency is looking to hire a full-time staff member for the position of forensic social worker. There is also a part-time position available. Both require some work on weekends and during the evenings although the schedule and hours are very flexible. Both are 1099 positions. Job responsibilities include: Provide forensic social work assessments and evaluations for family court custody cases, visitation cases, juvenile offense cases and other family court petitions. Coordinate, supervise and evaluate family visits. Create written evaluations, service plans and reports for court presentation. Provide expert social work testimony in family court cases as needed. Maintain contact with related professionals (attorneys, outside therapists, schools, ACS social workers, etc.). Make referrals as necessary for additional services as necessary (housing, education, therapy, medical etc.). Facilitate parenting classes, trainings and mediations. Candidate must be an LMSW or LCSW and have 3 years of experience. Experience in foster care or a clinical setting preferred. The ideal candidate will be professional, have excellent time management skills, be able to work independently and be very organized. Bilingual speakers (Spanish) are strongly encouraged to apply."
