"Family Ties of Westchester, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization providing support and advocacy services to Westchester families of children with emotional, behavioral and social challenges. Under contract with Westchester County Department of Social Services, we have a full-time position available for a professional who will conduct foster parent training and complete home studies using the MAPP (Models Approach to Partnership in Parenting) curriculum. The candidate must have excellent presentation, interpersonal and writing skills and be able to meet paperwork deadlines. Training will be provided and the candidate will be certified as GPS II MAPP Trainer. The applicant must be willing to travel throughout Westchester. QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree required. Prior training experience and/or child welfare experience is necessary. Valid driver's license and car required. Mileage reimbursement is available. Applicant must submit to NYS Child Abuse Registry and Fingerprinting clearances. Compensation includes a competitive salary, health and dental benefits, and generous vacation leave."
