Foreclosure Prevention Counselor

"Counsel clients on their situation and analyze client situation to define client action plan, confirm client budget to determine affordability of housing payment. Review client hardship letter to determine and provide a final draft appropriate for client situation. Provide client with a plethora of information to serve as a resource to assist client to keep up with their action plan, explaining what resources apply to their situation. Works with all staff in Foreclosure Prevention Center (FPC), to expedite and counsel client as they go through the homeownership retention process. Responsible for maintaining two new Level 2 post purchase individual counseling session a day. Maintain and follow file management, referral and service tracking systems for the FPC...Education & Experience: AA or BA in business administration or related field desired. Prior experience in the fields of training human resource development or education. Experience within the consumer lending or financial management industry. Minimum 3 years bookkeeping or accounting experience in nonprofit, real estate or lending organizations preferred...Compensation: $32,000 to $34,000."
