"Tram Drivers drive Garden visitors in a shuttle van/tram; perform minor maintenance work as relates to the care of the vehicle; provide tram narration; and courteously respond to public requests for information and assistance in Garden activities. Check vehicle to ensure safe operation including but not limited to tire pressure, oil and fuel levels, accessible lifts, etc. Must have valid NYS Driver License and high school diploma or equivalent. Must have desire and ability to work outdoors; interact with the public; and have good verbal skills. Must be available to work weekends and holidays and be able to move/lift heavy objects. Previous customer service experience desired. This is a part-time seasonal position."
