"We seek an experienced woodshop instructor to start a woodshop program at The Boys' Club of New York, an after-school program for boys. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. Responsibilities include developing, implementing, administering and evaluating a woodshop program for boys ages 10 to 14; create program goals, including a listing of skills development and desired outcome at each level; formulate and track a budget for the program; design the woodshop space and acquire equipment, tools and materials. Requirements: Four year college degree in education, recreation, youth development or a field related to woodworking. Minimum 3 years work experience in a teaching capacity and demonstrated skills in the field of wookworking/woodshop.
