"The Fire Recovery Assistant supports the Fire Recovery Coordinator as the on-site facilitator for VSD's fire recovery projects. The Assistant will purchase supplies, maintain project schedules, run errands, make phone calls, complete clerical tasks and act as a Point-of-Contact for fire recovery projects. As required by the Coordinator, Assistant will organize and implement event logistics, as well as work with community groups...Successful job performance could depend upon the applicant's ability to perform the following tasks and under the following conditions. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to performing select functions. Extensive use of the computer. Write, type, and/or handle or feel small controls. Move or transport supplies of up to 25 pounds on occasional. Should not have any physical conditions restricting or prohibiting activity in high temperatures or prohibiting moderate activity in fair-to-poor air conditions. Outdoor work on uneven, at times rocky, terrain."
