TV Logger/Transcriber

"Experienced logger/transcriber needed immediately for major television show. You must already be familiar with the basics of logging, operating a deck, etc. You must be a relatively fast typist. Familiarity with Pilotware software is a plus -- if you've used Pilotware, please note it in your e-mail. Please do not respond if you have never logged or transcribed for film/TV before. Your e-mail will be deleted. You don't need extensive experience, but some experience is a must...Shift hours: 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. You must be able to work these hours. Daytime shifts often open up for those who work well at night. Woodshop Instructor

Work hours are Monday through Friday, 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. Responsibilities include developing, implementing, administering and evaluating a woodshop program for boys ages 10 to 14; create program goals, including a listing of skills development and desired outcome at each level; formulate and track a budget for the program; design the woodshop space and acquire equipment, tools and materials. Requirements: Four year college degree in education, recreation, youth development or a field related to woodworking. Minimum 3 years work experience in a teaching capacity and demonstrated skills in the field of wookworking/woodshop. Meals-on-Wheels Relief Driver

"Senior Services of Snohomish County is a non-profit organization that provides social and health services to more than 35,000 elderly and disabled people annually in Snohomish County, Washington. Our mission is to 'promote independence, preserve dignity and enhance the quality of life through the provision of services for older adults and people with disabilities.' Established in 1973, Senior Services has over 30 years of experience in providing programs that include: transportation; nutrition; housing; social services; information and assistance; volunteer programs; minor home repair; and a monthly newspaper. Many of these programs have been in operation since the organization's inception while others have been added in response to unmet needs in the community. SUMMARY: Assist with receiving, packing and delivering bulk foods to meal sites and provide transportation and operations support for Senior Dining Nutrition Program. This physically demanding position requires frequent lifting up to 50 pounds and climbing in and out of delivery truck numerous times a day. Must be able to drive cargo van and larger delivery truck. Assist with delivery of food bank commodity foods to homebound seniors which involves heavy lifting and occasionally carrying boxes up flights of stairs. Assemble and pack frozen, prepared meals according to client orders and deliver to frail, homebound older adults. Put away food and supply stock when delivered to central production area. Assemble or assist with assembly of perishable and frozen foods and place in designated transport containers. Store foods according to standards to assure food safety and sanitation. Observe and report changes in client condition or situation to Assessment Specialist."

Farmers Market Vendor

An important part of the job is becoming familiar with the items that you sell, and then passing that knowledge on to your customer. Your typical day will begin at the farm in Carnation where you will load one of the farm's delivery vans with the produce and all the supplies you need. You will drive to the market, setup the stand, display the produce according to the farms standards and vend the produce during the market. When the market is over for the day, break down the stand and return the truck, supplies and the leftover produce items to the farm. RESPONSIBILITIES: Ability to lift 50lbs. Able to move on your feet for extended periods of time. Desire to interact with the public and educate them on the products available from the farm and the virtues of organic produce.
